FEDIP Future Digital Leaders
The FEDIP Future Leader Bursary is a competitive programme which invites those working in health and care informatics to become part of a yearly cohort of aspiring future leaders.
"The group/bursary was a great idea. It has helped us to link with fellows across the UK who we would not routinely have the chance to meet."
"I've really enjoyed the scheme; it's helped me expand my view past my small domain and meeting like-minded people has been really rewarding. I think including the network in discussions on the future as FEDIP have been doing is really useful, as many decisions made now will affect our work environment for the majority of our careers"
"It has been wonderful so far; I am incredibly grateful for all the opportunities I have been given so far and looking forward to seeing it develop. "

How To Apply
1
The Criteria
The bursaries are open to anyone working within health and care informatics (clinical and non-clinical) who are aspiring future leaders in their field.
To get the best use of the bursary we recommend that you have been working in health and care informatics for a minimum of one year.

You can apply directly or nominate a member of your team.

We know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in the health and care informatics workforce.

2
The Application
Applicants are asked how they would benefit from the bursary scheme and how they will use their place to further professionalism within their team and the wider health and care informatics profession.

3
The Judging Process
There are three rounds of judging. The first round is conducted by alumni of the bursary scheme. The second round is judged by representatives from the Professional Bodies & the Digital Skills Development Networks. The final round is judged by members of the FEDIP Board.
