We are pleased to share the addition to the Hub of another excellent, CPD-endorsed Byte Size learning module from the Usher Institute at the University of Edinburgh.
This course has been adapted from the Introduction to Databases and Information Systems elective of the University’s MSc Data Science for Health and Social Care.
This course will introduce you to databases and information systems in health and social care.
By the end of this Byte Size Learning course, you will:
· Be able to identify and differentiate the concepts of database and information systems
· Be able to identify the two main types of databases, relational and non-relational and their differences
· Become familiar with the basic queries of SQL through practical exercises.
